Coachella is a city of approximately 45,000 people at the far eastern end of the Coachella Valley, about 25 miles southeast of Palm Springs. The city has a young population - the median age is around 26 - and a strong identity rooted in its agricultural history, particularly the date palm farming that shaped the landscape for generations. Most of the housing stock consists of owner-occupied single-family homes, with older neighborhoods near downtown featuring smaller 1970s and 1980s tract homes and newer subdivisions on the city edges built in the 2000s. The city of Coachella is also the namesake of the world-famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held each April at the Empire Polo Club in neighboring Indio.
The eastern location of Coachella means it sits farther from the resort corridor and contractor-dense areas around Palm Springs, which historically made it harder for residents to find reliable local service providers. The housing stock here is a practical reflection of that working-class, family-oriented community - homes that need real maintenance, updated systems, and contractors who show up and do the work without overcharging. Residents in Coachella are close neighbors with those in Indio to the west and know the challenges that come with living in one of the hottest parts of the country. We serve both communities and treat every home in this part of the valley with the same attention we would give our own.
